Our Pastor
Pastor Pete Braman has been blessed with a variety of ministry opportunities.
His first 8 years of ministry he served as a Boy’s Dean and Bible Teacher (Milo and Highland View Academies). He then served as a Conference Youth Director for 10 years (Chesapeake and Rocky Mountain Conferences). He has embraced the privilege of being a local church pastor for over 14 years (Illinois, Colorado, and California).
Prior to his current ministry as the lead pastor of the Rolla, Sullivan, and Bourbon Churches, he served as the Illinois Conference Ministerial Director. This role allowed him to train, supervise, and support over 40 pastors.
Pastor Braman is richly blessed by serving alongside his wife Susie who teaches at the Hilltop Christian School in Rolla.
His hobbies include hiking, traveling, and playing the guitar. He and Susie are blessed with two adult children Justin and Nikki (both teachers) and 3 granddaughters.
Sharing the amazing love of Jesus is the passion of his ministry.

What We Believe
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream Protestant church with approximately 19 million members worldwide, including more than one million members in North America. The Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus is coming again soon.
The Nature of God
We believe there is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a perfect unity of three co-eternal Persons.
The Sacrifice of Jesus
We accept the death of Jesus Christ on Calvary as our atoning sacrifice for my sins. We believe that through faith in His death and resurrection, we are saved from sin and its penalty.
The Ten Commandments
We embrace the Ten Commandments as a reflection of the character of God and a revelation of His will for our lives. Jesus came to uphold the law and not change or abolish it.
Salvation by Faith
We believe that salvation is a free gift to all who believe in the name of Jesus and put our trust in Him. We are saved by our faith and not by works.
Christian Growth
We believe that by abiding in Jesus Christ we become changed to better reflect his character and image. Bible study and prayer are significant ways we can abide in Him.
The Second Coming & Evangelism
We believe in the soon coming of Jesus to take his faithful believers with Him to our eternal, heavenly home. We are called to share this good news as an invitation to join His kingdom. The Holy Spirit gives special gifts to believers to accomplish this mission.
Health and Lifestyle
We believe that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and strive to honor God by caring for it, avoiding unclean foods, or any form of drug that may cloud our minds and damage our bodies.
Love and Service
We believe in the power of love and service to show respect, kindness, mercy, and justice to our fellow man.
